ey guys,

i've a question

since a few months i have a logitech Z-5500 THX digital 5.1 Surround system.

ever since i have it and connected it to my computer i only have the sound over 3 satalite boxes instead of 5.

no matter what i try on computer or on the control panel itself i cant get it to the 5.1 setting.

i hope you guys can help me cos i really would like to have that surround abillity Very Happy

my computer uses the Realtek High definition sound crap thingy ( what ever that is).

and i have a onboard soundcard.

plz let me know if you know a solution.

cos on the internet i couldnt find any and since there aint a software program for it i hope you guys can help me.

BB, you probably have done this but take one of you working speakers and move it to the non-working channels to see if its a speaker issue. Do the same thing with the connections between your sound card and your Logi's amp inputs. You did not mention if all the channels ever worked or not. I would bet you have bad channel amps. Logitechs sound systems are not the most reliable.
